Born in South Carolina to his devoted parents, Amy and Phillip Polefrone, David displayed a remarkable curiosity from an early age. His brilliance was matched by humility, compassion, and a deep appreciation for the people in his life.
David attended the University of Maryland, where he studied economics and chemistry while distinguishing himself as both a scholar and a leader. During his undergraduate years, he served in Student Government, participated in parliamentary debate, and was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society. He graduated with honors, reflecting his dedication to academic excellence, leadership, and service.
His passion for learning led him to the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry. After completing his graduate studies, David relocated to Washington, D.C., to begin a promising career in data science.
