The community is mourning the tragic loss of Rodrigo Ramos, a 24-year-old from Kennett, Missouri, who died following a single-vehicle crash during the early morning hours of Wednesday in Dunklin County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:00 a.m. on U.S. Highway 412 near Senath. Authorities reported that the vehicle traveled off the roadway, entered a ditch, overturned, and ejected both occupants during the crash.
Rodrigo Ramos was pronounced dead at the scene by Dunklin County Coroner James Powell. A passenger who was also involved in the crash survived but suffered serious injuries and was transported by air to a hospital in Memphis for medical treatment.
