A motorcyclist was killed early Thursday morning following a devastating collision with a van in La Puente, prompting a large emergency response and a lengthy road closure as investigators worked to determine what caused the fatal crash.
The collision occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on July 2 at the intersection of Amar Road and Evanwood Avenue, where first responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and law enforcement agencies arrived to find a motorcycle and a passenger van involved in a serious crash.
The incident remains under active investigation, and authorities have not yet determined what factors led to the collision.
Fatal Collision Claims Motorcyclist’s Life
Emergency crews responded within minutes of receiving reports of the crash. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the motorcyclist had sustained catastrophic injuries.
